Chip maker Intel CEO Paul Otellini recently said MeeGo operating system jointly developed with Nokia still has a bright future, despite the recent announcement of Nokia will work closely with Microsoft to make Windows 7 Phone handsets. "I do not see that Nokia is changing the strategy changes industry strategy," Otellini said in an interview at the Mobile World Congress. Operators are still looking for the OS "open, friendly to the operator", he said.
Even Intel has showcased Meego-based tablets to show the user interface from Meego and achievements so far because there has been no official Meego tablets marketed until now.
Meego The operating system is not just for phones but also tablets and therefore with this demo Intel shows seriousness to keep using Meego as tablet operating system with Intel hardware.

MeeGo tablet will come to later in the year 2011 and also will be used by Nokia handsets and embedded devices in a vehicle like a car.
